The Practice

The Centers house clinical psychologists, licensed chemical dependency counselors, licensed professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, and special education tutors. When you contact either of the offices, an informal telephone assessment will determine the best mental health provider to assist you. A referral to a provider outside the Centers will be made when necessary.
The philosophy is to turn no one away who is in need of mental health counseling. Lack of funds or type of insurance plan is not an obstacle as several providers in the Centers offer a schedule fee payment (sliding scale). Each mental health provider cooperates with most insurance policies.

Services

Both offices provide counseling as well as psychological and intelligence testing and ADHD testing. Services are offered for children, adolescents, and adults. Individual, family, marital, and chemical dependency counseling is provided. The Centers also provide academic, career and business counseling. Anger management and parenting education is offered as well as ADHD coaching for children, adolescents and adults.

The chemical dependency counseling includes intervention, testing, preventive treatment and rehabilitation. Therapy is based on the current medical addictionology research disseminated by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse (CASA), National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Inpatient and aftercare services are facilitated by Dr. Delaney.

Providers in both offices collaborate with and refer to mental health specialists and psychiatrists. Collaboration with medical physicians other than psychiatrists is provided as necessary. A variety of modalities are incorporated into each of the private practices as the associates believe different modalities are compatible and not mutually exclusive.
